Collector Cue # CG-CC2 SOLD!!

This is an early MACE break/jump cue by Rick Howard. It is in used condition and comes with a non-original (reconditioned) laminated shaft.
The forearm is an amazing piece of bird's eye maple, with a dark stain. The butt is straight-grain maple, with the 'MACE' signature on the butt (partially missing due to finish chips)
Overall condition is presentable. Some significant bumping and scratching is apparent, and chipping of the finish is apparent in all areas. This cue was owned by a player, not a collector. A refinish is strongly suggested would make it 100%. The wrap is an excellent feeling 'stacked' leather wrap in excellent condition.
The shaft that is included is NOT an original Rick Howard shaft. This is clearly signified by the narrow black band at the joint and the sloppy (off center) brass insert. Rick does not do work of that poor quality. It has a slight taper roll, as would be expected after a hard life... Additional (genuine) MACE shafts can be obtained for additional cost if needed. New shafts are straight maple; however I spoke to Rick and he can provide a laminated shaft if desired.
An excellent break/jump cue, that also doubles as a great player a very affordable price! Don't miss out! At this price it won't last long at all I'm sure!
Length- standard 58"
Weight-(butt) 429.5g / 15.15oz
(Shaft) 120.5g / 4.25oz (Shaft has been reconditioned and is not original)
(Cue Weight) 550.0g / 19.40oz
Shaft Taper- Pro
Ferrule Diameter- 12.8mm
Ferrule Material- NOT ivory.
Tip- No idea of type, but it is a layered tip. Seems hard
Joint- Flat-face fiber reinforced phenolic; standard 5/16-18 MACE thread
Wrap- layered leather; appears original
Inlay Material- none
Rubber Bumper- correct for the cue
Notes- Cue needs a re-finish ($125.00 from Rick Howard). It would be good to get a correct shaft as well for this cue, but I think it plays very well as-is. Taper roll in shaft is very slight.
Price- SOLD Including shipping in the United States!

This is a rare Joss (East) Willie Mosconi tribute cue. It is in used condition and comes with the original (reconditioned) shaft as well as the original (damaged) signature case and documentation from Joss. This is a serialized cue and part of a limited production run to honor the great player.
It features six ebony points (three high and three low) with a holly wood diamond in each point.
The butt sleeve is rosewood with a maple center band. Over the band, bloodwood inlays have been placed. (wood types will be verified by Joss)
Butt condition is very good. Some slight bumping and scratching, but nothing serious. This cue was owned by a player, not a collector. A refinish would make it 100%, but the damage is so minor I would not go that far at this point. The wrap could use a good cleaning as well, but it is quite presentable as it is.
The original shaft is included, and has been reconditioned. It has a slight taper roll, as would be expected after a hard life... Additional Joss shafts can be obtained for additional cost if needed. (Also note we have Tiger-X shafts that fit this cue!)
A nice piece of history at a very affordable price!
Length- standard 58"
Weight-(butt) 438.5g / 15.47oz
(Shaft) 105.0g / 3.70oz (Shaft has been reconditioned)
(Cue Weight) 543.5g / 19.17oz
Shaft Taper- Pro
Ferrule Diameter- 12.8mm
Ferrule Material- NOT ivory.
Tip- yes. It has one, and I have groomed it back from the dead. No idea of type, but it is not layered. Seems hard
Joint- Piloted Stainless Steel; standard 5/16-14 Joss thread
Wrap- Irish Linen; Original; black/white
Inlay Material- All wood
Rubber Bumper- new Joss part; correct style
Notes- Finish shines up nicely. Joint could use a polish; however it is engraved with the cue's unique run number (matches certificate) so I have not touched the joint. Original case and certificate included, as well as original plastic bag cue was delivered in. No weight bolt in this cue, so it could come up in weight if desired. Personally, I think it plays very well as-is.
